When you run a speed test, we collect technical information required to perform the measurement: your IP address (temporarily), test timestamps, download/upload speeds, ping, jitter, packet loss percentage, device type, operating system, and approximate geolocation (city/region level). This data is essential for providing accurate results and diagnosing network issues.

2.2 Optional Data

If you contact us via email or contact forms, we collect your name, email address, and any message content. You may also voluntarily create an account to save test history — in that case, we store your email and encrypted password. Account data is never sold to third parties.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected data to: (a) deliver accurate speed test results; (b) improve and optimize our testing infrastructure; (c) detect abuse or technical anomalies; (d) respond to customer support inquiries; (e) generate anonymous aggregate statistics about internet performance trends. We do not use personal data for advertising or profiling without explicit consent.

4. Data Retention & Security

Speed test logs (including IP addresses) are retained for up to 30 days for debugging and anti-fraud purposes, then anonymized or deleted. Contact form submissions are kept for 12 months. We implement industry-standard encryption (TLS 1.3), firewalls, and access controls. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure — you use our Service at your own risk.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent personal data. Limited sharing occurs with: (a) service providers who help operate our infrastructure (cloud hosting, CDN) under strict confidentiality agreements; (b) legal authorities when required by law or to protect our rights.
